Privacy Policy

Apptractor Development (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how Winki handles information. Winki does not require an account and does not use advertising or cross-app tracking.

1. Information We Process

• Data on your device: your name, onboarding choices, Daily affirmations, reminders, practice history, streaks, and settings are stored locally. We do not provide account-based cloud sync for this data.
• Speech: with permission, Winki uses your device’s speech-recognition service to detect an affirmation. We do not save transcripts or send a copy of your audio to our servers. Apple or Google may process speech under their own privacy terms.
• Recommendations: limited onboarding choices and affirmation candidate identifiers may be sent through Firebase to OpenAI to improve recommendation ordering. This excludes your name, free-text answers, audio, and transcripts.
• Analytics: Firebase receives basic feature usage and general app/device information so we can improve Winki. We do not send your name, survey answers, free text, affirmation content or identifiers, audio, transcripts, or precise location. Advertising identifiers and analytics personalization are disabled.
• Purchases and support: app stores and RevenueCat process limited purchase and subscription information. If you contact us, we process the details you provide so we can reply.

2. How We Use and Share Information

We use information to operate and personalize Winki, detect spoken affirmations, manage subscriptions, measure basic app usage, fix problems, and provide support. We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed with Apple or Google, Firebase and Google Cloud, OpenAI, RevenueCat, and our website hosting provider, or when required by law. These providers may process information in other countries under their own privacy terms and applicable safeguards.

3. Storage and Your Choices

Local data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall Winki. Providers retain limited analytics, recommendation, purchase, and technical records according to their policies and legal obligations. You can change microphone, speech, and notification permissions in device settings and manage subscriptions through your app store. Where privacy law applies, you may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other available rights.

4. Children, Security, and Updates

Winki is not intended for children under 13. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, although no system is completely secure. We may update this policy from time to time and will publish changes here with a revised date.
